ICAC and Hong Kong Police Force Join Hands to Share Experience at the GovHR Forum in Kazakhstan

Earlier on June 17-19, Principal Investigator of the Operations Department Mr Gary Wong, led an ICAC delegation together with representatives from the Service Quality Wing of Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) to attend the “GovHR Forum” jointly organised by the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the forum ICAC shared its experience in leveraging technology for anti-corruption and integrity management with over 300 public sector leaders and professionals from the IT and HR fields across over 20 countries.
During the panel session titled “Integrity—Culture of Integrity”, Mr Gary Wong exchanged views with international experts on how to cultivate and strengthen a culture of integrity within the public sector in the era of digital transformation, and how innovative technologies can be applied to close corruption loopholes. The ICAC delegation, together with representatives from the HKPF, also visited Mr Han Chunlin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, we shared our development on anti-graft international cooperation.
The ICAC will continue to join hands with various government departments and law enforcement agencies of Hong Kong to promote abroad Hong Kong’s collaborative anti-corruption strategy and tell good stories of Hong Kong.
