2025-11-28
The Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption (HKIAAC) of the ICAC hosted a dynamic two-week Leadership and Executive Development (LED) Programme earlier, uniting 32 representatives from overseas, Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong anti-corruption and other law enforcement agencies, aimed at strengthening international connections to address future anti-corruption challenges.
This year’s programme centred on the theme “Wisdom in Action, Leading with Determination”, inviting several speakers from the legal field, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies to share insights on various topics. Participants explored the challenges faced by law enforcement today and the determination required, exchange strategies for effective team management and driving change, and discussed how to lead organisations with integrity when facing challenges, particularly enhancing leadership capabilities in strategic decision-making, crisis management, and ethical leadership.
One of the highlights of this flagship programme was a study tour to Qingdao, Chinese Mainland, where participants gained first-hand knowledge about China’s latest developments and its commitment to combating corruption. Upon the successful completion of the course, participants found the programme insightful and pledged to foster international collaboration and apply relevant lessons from their experience.
