New Collaboration Initiative between ICAC and HKPF: Sharing on Anti-Corruption and Integrity Management in Thailand
2025-5-29
The Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption has been committed to collaborating with various government departments and stakeholders in HKSAR, aiming to share the integrity culture of Hong Kong. Recently, with the support of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission of Thailand, representatives from the ICAC and the Service Quality Wing of Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) conducted trainings at the International Anti-corruption Capacity Building Programme for over 150 graft fighters and The Royal Thai Police. The course covered Hong Kong’s anti-corruption legal framework, ICAC’s experiences and real cases in combating corruption-related crimes, as well as integrity management of the HKPF.
The ICAC delegation, together with representatives from the HKPF, has also visited Mr. Wu Zhiwu, the Minister of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand. During the meeting, we shared our development and goals on international cooperation. Representatives from HKPF shared their strategies in maintaining a high level of staff integrity.
The joint sharing significantly enhances the effectiveness of the programme. The ICAC and the HKPF will engage in more anti-corruption collaboration to work towards a corruption-free world.
