2025-3-26
For the first time, the ICAC and the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC) of Macao joined forces to share their anti-corruption experience in Brazil. The 3-day “Capacity Building Programme for the Office of the Comptroller General of the Union, Brazil” (24 to 26 March) gathered over 80 officials from local anti-graft and law enforcement agencies, including The Office of the Comptroller General of the Union, The Attorney General Office, Administrative Council for Economic Defense, Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, Federal Police and Federal Revenue of Brazil.
Apart from showcasing the advantages and remarkable achievements of Hong Kong and Macao under the “One Country, Two Systems” framework, officers of the ICAC and CCAC also shared anti-corruption strategies of the two places as well as their enforcement experience. The programme was honoured by Mr. Jin Hong-jun, the Minister of the PRC Embassy of Brazil, who attended as a guest and presented certificates to participants.
The ICAC will continue to expand its “circle of friends” globally and share experiences with different counterparts around the world.
