In order to strengthen international anti-corruption cooperation, the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption organised a professional anti-corruption programme for the Accounts General Prosecutor’s Office (AGPO) of Panama from 16 to 23 July.  Seasoned officers from the Independent Commission Against Corruption conducted both in-person and online training sessions for over 70 personnel from AGPO and other local government agencies, with emphasis on exchanging anti-corruption strategies and investigative experiences.  During the visit, ICAC officers met with the Chinese Ambassador of Panama, Ms Xu Xueyuan and updated Ms Xu on Hong Kong’s situation on anti-corruption development and international cooperation.
