In order to strengthen international anti-corruption cooperation, the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption organized a professional anti-corruption programme for the National Transparency Authority (NTA) of the Hellenic Republic in Athens from 27 June to 9 July.  Seasoned officers from the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) conducted both in-person and online training sessions for more than 120 personnel from NTA and other local anti-corruption agencies, with emphasis on exchanging anti-corruption strategies and investigative experiences, including computer forensic and financial investigation techniques.  Mr Xiao Junzheng, Chinese Ambassador to Greece, attended the opening ceremony of the training programme.   During their stay, the ICAC officers met with Ambassador Xiao and took the opportunity to introduce the anti-corruption efforts in Hong Kong as well as ICAC’s involvement in international cooperation.
