Knowledge Nexus Webinar Series - Impacts of Corruption Education on Social Culture
The session served as a platform to share strategies for effective integrity education among anti-corruption agencies worldwide. A total of four distinguished speakers shared their expertise during the webinar:
Mr Joe TAM from the ICAC highlighted how the ICAC utilizes annual surveys to gauge public views on its graft-fighting efforts and to map out anti-corruption strategies. He also shared research collaboration between HKIAAC and a Chinese Mainland University on how integrity education influences the public’s willingness to report corruption.
Ms Dionysia TSOPELA and Ms Marina SPYRATOU from the National Transparency Authority of Greece, and Dr Emily MWORIA from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Kenya, shared their practical insights and experiences in implementing integrity education programmes that effectively raise social awareness on anti-corruption.
